Whether it’s 11:30 a.m. or 11:30 p.m., it’s always a full house at this bustling American gastropub. Equal parts sports bar, lounge, and restaurant, Batch is the place to be for soccer games, NBA playoffs, boxing matches, and football showdowns. Join the hottest crowds and fellow Gator fans as you relish in Batch’s high-quality, locally sourced pub grub, from lamb burgers to truffle fries, that pairs perfectly with the lengthy drink list highlighting wide-ranging beers, wines, and other creative cocktails, all sure to elevate your game-day experience.

After years of envisioning an authentic gastropub in Miami, partners Kevin Danilo and Jerry Flynn have opened Batch Gastropub in Brickell. The duo has been planning this venture for a half-decade and working on the space for nearly a year, building bars from scratch, installing a wood-burning oven, and enlisting the help of Michael Reidt to create the menu along with chefs Adrian Talavera and Pablo Zitzmann. Speaking of the menu, think bar food with sophisticated twists. Mac ‘n’ cheese is made with gnocchi and aged Gruyere; pizzas are topped with short rib and pumpkin; and nachos are slathered with duck confit instead of ground beef. In addition to a large selection of beers, there are cocktails on tap – small-batch margaritas, slings, and Collins, as well as house-made sodas and carbonated cocktails.

    Happy hour — Monday through Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. — is also a can’t-miss. 30 SW 12th St., Miami; 305-808-5555; batchmiami.com.
