    First Major Residential Project in Wynwood Breaks Ground



    East End Capital and The Related Group celebrated an official groundbreaking ceremony on July 10 for Wynwood 25, a mixed-use development set to bring 289 rental apartments to Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.


    The development is the area’s first major residential project to utilize the 2015 Neighborhood Revitalization District Plan’s zoning changes, and is expected to be completed the summer of 2019, with 80 percent of its units projected to rent for under $2,000 per month.





    Kids Week Returns to Southland Mall for Year Eight



    The festivities kick off on Center Court Monday, July 24th with Miami Children’s Museum’s interactive program based on their latest exhibit ‘Dino Island’, from 12-4 pm. Also on Monday, the Miami HEAT will be giving away tickets to their pre-season games in October. Other highlights include a wing eating contest on Thursday, July 27th at 5:30 pm, courtesy of Buffalo Wild Wings, line dancing on Friday, July 28th with the fabulous ‘Belles and Outlaws’ at 6 pm, capped with the grand finale on Saturday, July 29th from 1-3 pm, with the return of the Marlins Street Team, with plenty of prize giveaways and games for the little ones.





    Miami Children’s Museum Celebrates Newly Renovated Carnival Exhibition



    All aboard and anchors aweigh to experience a tropical adventure as Carnival Cruise Line recently unveiled the newly renovated Upper Deck as part of its permanent Cruise Ship exhibit at Miami Children’s Museum (MCM).


    The newly renovated Carnival Upper Deck includes exciting interactive components such as: a realistic model of a Navigational Control Station; a Lego table where children will be able to build a ship based off a ship model; a Destination Wall featuring the different ports to which Carnival sails; a Dr. Seuss Bookville family reading area; and more.




    Miami Spice Comes Back August 1st, 2017



    The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is celebrating the 16th anniversary of the highly-anticipated Miami Spice Restaurant Program. Since its inception in 2001, an estimated one million Miami Spice meals have been served. The two-month long promotion, starting August 1through September 30, 2017, showcases Greater Miami and The Beaches’ diverse and ever-evolving culinary scene. This year’s sponsors include Citibank®, Lyft, Chandon California, Fiji Water, Stella Artois, Terrazas de los Andes, Ketel One Vodka, Don Julio Tequila, Bulleit Bourbon and Zacapa Rum.

    The kitchen at Kiki is helmed by Executive Chef Steve Rhee, an industry veteran who opened Estiatorio Milos in Miami Beach in addition to three years serving as sous chef at Estiatorio Milos in Las Vegas. Serving lunch and dinner daily, and a lively weekend brunch, Kiki offers a selection of time-honored Greek favorites and innovative dishes, all made from scratch in-house.
